What we do

EUCompany.org runs four things that work together:

• A classification system (E1 to E4) that describes how European a company's digital posture is — from mostly non-European through to fully EU-native.
• A free Quick Scan (15 questions) that gives any business an indicative classification within minutes.
• A paid Extended Scan (35–50 questions across six domains) that produces a self-verified classification with concrete recommendations.
• A public directory and knowledge hub where classified companies are visible and European alternatives are catalogued.

What we stand for

We believe European businesses can compete globally without being invisible to themselves about the dependencies they carry — in data, in infrastructure, in AI, in vendors. Measurement is the first step. Transparency is the second. Action is the third.

Who operates the platform

EUCompany.org is a brand of Westcube Management BV, an Amsterdam-based management and technology firm (Chamber of Commerce number 96923954). Westcube acts as the legal entity and technical operator. Independence of the classification from commercial interests is structurally enforced — see our Governance page for the details.

Why this, why now

Over the past decade, European businesses have become deeply dependent on a small number of non-European platforms for critical digital infrastructure. For most organisations this is invisible until it becomes a problem: a regulatory change, a pricing shift, a geopolitical event. The conversation about Europe's digital strategy has been dominated by institutions, not by the businesses that actually run on that infrastructure.

EUCompany.org is the operational tool businesses can use to understand where they stand, signal it to their customers, and make incremental moves toward European alternatives where it makes sense.
